SAN DIEGO__April 6,
2004. KOJO Worldwide, a leading provider of custom bed coverings
and draperies for the hospitality industry, is pleased to announce
the grand opening of KOJO Caribe with facilities in Chetumal Mexico.
This new division will increase KOJO manufacturing capacity, improve
delivery time and provide an economic stimulus to the Mexican
tourism industry.
The Chetumal facility will employ over 500 workers over the next
three years to manufacture draperies for hotel properties in eastern
Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and the United States. Ten acres
of land were provided to KOJO for future growth and plans are

Hendricks, Secretary of Economic Development Luis Garcia Silva,
