29, 2002. KOJO Worldwide announces its new “Sweet Sleeper
Bed “ duvet programs for Starwood-owned Sheraton Hotels
and franchise properties. By January 2004, all Sheraton Hotels
in North America will have Sweet Sleeper Beds with custom-designed
duvet, bed skirt and signature pillow manufactured exclusively
by KOJO Worldwide. The unique design includes the look and feel
of cotton with the innovative use of easier-to-maintain, micro-denier
polyester.
In 1999, KOJO Worldwide pioneered one of the most successful
programs to storm the hospitality industry in recent years: the
duvet ensemble. KOJO developed the “White Heavenly Duvets”
envisioned by Barry Sternlicht, CEO of Starwood Hotels and Resorts,
for all Starwood’s Westin Hotels. KOJO’s research
and development team custom designed the duvets, which were manufactured
and then rigorously tested for stains and shrinkage. The result
was sparkling white duvet covers made with micro-denier polyester
fabric that looks and feels like luxurious combed cotton but is
much easier to maintain. Today, over 35,000 Westin Heavenly Beds
are covered with KOJO’s White Heavenly Duvet ensembles.
KOJO Worldwide, headquartered in San Diego, California, has been
servicing the hospitality industry with soft goods for over 28
years—from concept to completion. Designs by Koni and manufacture
by KOJO Worldwide are providing the industry vision and innovation
in fabrics, bedcovers, window treatments and accessories. KOJO
has a 300,000 square foot factory in Playas de Rosarito, Baja
California, just 30 minutes from San Diego, and Phoenix Drapery,
in the City of Commerce, California. Both factories are furnished
with state-of-the-art equipment and staffed with expertly trained
employees and management.
